Obituary of Kimella Broussard

Kimella "Kim" Jo Broussard, age 50 years old, passed away at MD Anderson Medical Center, Houston Texas on the 8th day of September 2011. Her cause of death was due to a prolonged illness that she fought courageously for many years. Kim was born on the 5th day of September 1961 in Columbia, LA. She resided in Katy, TX with her husband. Kim's life was centered around her husband, children, and grandchildren. Seeing them smile was her goal and true satisfaction. She was more than a wife and mother; she was a friend, counselor, mentor, "home decorator" and much more. She loved to work with crafts and was able to put her touch of class on anything. She will be especially watching over: Her Husband of over 29 years, James "Greg" Broussard. Three (3) Daughters: Amber Roberts and husband Coty of Richmond, TX. Meaghan Jones and husband Curt of Grayson, LA. Adrienne Broussard of Katy, TX. Four (4) Grandchildren: McKenna Roberts, Trevor Jones, Rease Roberts, and Anniston Jones. Mother, Freddie and step father Harold Keene of West Monroe, LA. Father, Benny Coleman of Hebert, LA. Brothers and sister-in-laws: Roger and Wanda Coleman of Pineville, LA. Shane and Holly McDaniel of Ball, LA. A host of other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal grand-parents Bruce and Florence White. Services are under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, LA; visitation 5 - 8pm on the 11th day of September 2011 at the funeral home, funeral services will be held at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle, Grayson, LA at 2pm, on the 12th day of September 2011. Burial to follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. with Reverend Sherman Jones officiating. Pallbearers: Roger Coleman, Shane McDaniel, Brandon Renfroe, Chad Renfroe, Billy Ellis and Fred Grant; honorary pallbearers: Harold Keene and David Broussard. Kim you are the love of my life.
