Obituary of Windell Price

Funeral services for Windell Price, 71 of Clarks, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 22, 2011 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Frank Shields and Bro. Kent Nugent officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville. Windell was born July 23, 1940 to George and Alma Price in Clarks and he passed from this life on September 20, 2011 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was a truck driver. He served his country in the Air Force and he loved to rock in his rocking chair. He enjoyed his grandchildren very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: A.J. Price and Alton Price; four sisters: Mildred Duncan, Margorite Smith, Juanita Graham, and Mary Lee Willerby. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Carolyn Price; three daughters: Monica Lynn Price and her friend Sammy Brownell of Big Ridge; Donna Jo Price of Clarks; Wendy Price Thibodeaux and her husband Joel of Morse, LA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kevin Glass, Jason Thibodeaux, Garin Thibodeaux, Gary Duncan, Greg Duncan, and Wesley Ducan.
