Obituary of Billy McKeithen

Memorial services for Billy Albert McKeithen, 76 of Grayson, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2011 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Billy was born December 20, 1934 to Willie and Ada Waggoner Mckeithen in Columbia and he passed from this life on October 2, 2011 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. He served his country in the Army for thirty two years having served in Vietnam. He retired as a Sergeant Major in the Special Forces. He was an avid fisherman who loved gardening, carpentry, and life in general. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Terry Loula Wilson McKeithen; daughter: Theresa Hastings and her husband David; brother: Denver McKeithen; two sisters: Gloria Pair and Dorothy Bates; two grandchildren: Jonathan Hastings and Devin Hastings; four step grandchildren: Samantha Flannery, Victoria Michaliska, Joshua Michaliska, and Kera Malone.
