Obituary of James "Jim" Johnson

Memorial services for Mr. James "Jim" F. Johnson, age 64 of Columbia, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 from the sanctuary of Hebert Community Church. Mr. Johnson was born on January 10, 1947 in Delhi, LA to the union of Emmett and Lois Roberts Johnson and passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his residence. He was an insurance salesman. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, John M. Johnson and his wife, Connie of Eros, fiancée, Belinda L. Alford of Columbia, three brothers: Emmett Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Betty of Sterlington, Ted Johnson and his wife, Marsha of Calhoun and Andy Johnson and his wife, Lisa of West Monroe, three sisters: JoAnn Reppond of Rocky Branch, Mamie Nelwyn Knighten and husband, Jack of Sterlington and Peggy Johnson of Calhoun, special friend, Dewey Robinson and special uncle Tom Roberts and his wife, Jane.
