Obituary of Mary Strange

Funeral services for Mary Ellen Strange, 57, of Columbia, will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church west of Columbia with Pastor Betsy Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-9 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Mary was born April 1, 1954 to Alvin and Bonnie Rhymes Richmond in Monroe and she passed from this life on October 22, 2011 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Willard Richmond. She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Charles A. Strange of Columbia; son : Charlie Strange of Columbia; two brothers: Johnny Richmond and Bobby Richmond; two sisters: JoAnn Davis and Susie Lapham; grandson: Charles "Avery" Strange. Pallbearers will be Scotty Allbritton, Richard Williamson, Roger Ballard, Ricky Humphries, Avery Strange and Charlie Strange.
