Obituary of Rex Tullos

Funeral services for Mr. Rex Tullos, age 77 of Grayson, will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Rosefield Baptist Church with Rev. Johnnie Phillips and Bro. Bubba Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Rosefield Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2011, at Rosefield Baptist Church from 5 PM to 9 PM then again Tuesday morning from 9 AM until time of service. Mr. Tullos was born on September 3, 1934 in Gilbert, LA to the union of the late Rex H. Tullos and the late Mamie Emfinger Tullos and passed to his Heavenly home on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his residence. He was a retired surveyor with the LaDOTD. He served as a deacon of Rosefield Baptist Church and was a member of the Summerville-Rosefield Water Board. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Cassels Tullos of Grayson; two sons: Max Edward Tullos of Vidalia and Kevin D. Tullos and wife, Janet of Olla; daughter, LeAnn Cupples and husband, Donnie of Olla; two brothers: Henry C. Tullos of Jena and John Daniel Tullos of Jonesville; grandchildren: Dustin Ruddell, Ty Tullos, Nikki Graves and husband, Greg, Aimee Pritchard, Emilee Cupples Reichardt and husband, Keith, Macy Tullos, Rita Tullos and Rexie Tullos and three great-grandchildren: Tiffany Humphries, Caleb Frost and Audrey Pritchard. Pallbearers will be Ty Tullos, Daniel Tullos, Darryle Kitterlin, Jeremy Cassels, Jeremy Richards, Wayne Spence, Mike Cassels and David Cassels. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Rosefield Baptist Church.
