Obituary of Harold May

Graveside services for Harold May, age 71, of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM,Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson with Bro. Dean Love officiating.  Upon Harold's request, there will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Harold was born August 5, 1946 to the union of Archie and Faye Honeycutt May in Clarks and he passed from this life in Clarks after a lengthy battle with heart disease.

He was a retired timber cutter and retired assistant warden at Caldwell Correctional Center. He loved to golf, hunt, and fish and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Carolyn May of Grayson; son: Jamey May and his wife Lisa of Kelly; daughter: Amy May of Grayson; sisters: Betty Jo Roberts of Eunice; Barbara Harrelson and her husband Junior of Columbia; grandchildren: Brittany May, Jenna Rider, Fisher May, Tyler Sharp, Trapper May, Mindee Sharp, and Morgan Sharp.
