Obituary of Gary Dewayne Randall

Funeral services for Gary D. Randall, age 71 of Olla will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from the sanctuary of Standard Baptist Church in Olla with Rev. Shad Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Hathorne Cemetery at Little Creek, LA under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Gary Dewayne Randall was born on September 30, 1946 at Winnfield, LA to the union of his parents, Lowell P. Randall and Bernice Aycock Randall and he passed from this life on June 16, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness. Gary was a devoted active member at Standard Baptist Church until his health affected his attendance. Gary's grandkids were the light of his life and he also loved hunting and fishing. He was employed as a diesel mechanic and served as shop foreman for twenty-five years with Permian Corporation. He was also employed with Trademount, Monroe Mack, Amyz Concrete and Cliffs Drilling. He was preceded in death by his parents, by his beloved wife, Donna Randall and a brother, Bill Randall.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: son, Gary Don Randall and fiancee, Tina Taylor of Olla, his daughters: Shelly Randall of Olla and Samantha Guidry of Mamou; one brother, Rex Randall of Olla; and his beloved grandchildren: Makenzy Randall, Braydon Howard and Adalyn Randall.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Crawford, Danny Guidry, Matthew Guidry, Kaden Moreau, Jim McKeithen and Chris McKeithen. Honorary pallbearers include Bill Kerry and Alvie Snody.
