Obituary of Hilda "Tiny" Gavoille

Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Veira "Tiny" Gavoille, age 87 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Michael Whitman officiating. Interment will follow at the Burroughs Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Gavoille was born on February 1, 1924 in Scranton, PA and passed to her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Citizens Medical Center. She was a homemaker who was loved by many. She was a special loving, sweet mother who was caring and giving to others. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Gavoille. Survivors include her daughter, Laura Billings and husband, Ron, two grandchildren: Cassandra Bennett and husband, Chris and Randy Womack and wife, Connie, six great-grandchildren: Josh Womack, Justin Womack, Jemary Womack and wife, Savannah, Morgan Womack, Jessica Speer and husband, Kasey and Brittany Heird, two great-great-grandchildren: Kasey "Sunny" Speer, Jr. and Aiden Womack and several special friends: Delouise and Willis Doss, Linda and William Waits, Donna and Butch Hatten, Ray and Jennifer Massey, Bro. Michael and Sis. Kim Whitman, Glen and Mary Lee and Juanita Crockett. Pallbearers will be Josh Womack, Justin Womack, Jemary Womack, Chris Bennett, Ray Massey and Ron Billings. Honorary pallbearers will be William Waits, Glen Lee, Butch Hatten, Ray Massey and Willis Doss.
