Obituary of Albert Wall

Funeral services for Mr. Albert C. Wall age 90 of Columbia will be held 1:00 pm Saturday January 7, 2012 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery at Rocky Branch, LA . Visitation will be on Friday evening 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia. Albert Charles Wall was born on January 17,1921 at Mer Rouge, LA to the union of his parents, the late Jethro Wall and Charlie Aulds Wall. He was a retired employee of the Westinghouse Corporation, and was preceded in death by all of his eight siblings. Survivors include, his wife; Mrs. Betty Gipson Wall of Columbia; two daughters, Sherry Wall Carr of Fairmont, West Virginia and Charlotte Wall Stanley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jimmy Wall of Eros,LA and Jerry Wall of the Alexandria, LA area. Mr. Wall also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joseph Bradley, Jerry Jeter, Ray Hutchinson, Sammy Smith, Chris Spillers, Jerry Wall, Jr., and Pat Carr.
