Obituary of Johnnie Price

Graveside services for Johnnie Sheldon Price, age 81 of Monroe, will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Rosefield Cemetery in Rosefield, LA with Bro. Lindle Stewart officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, from 5 PM to 8 PM. The funeral procession will be leaving Riser Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10 AM. Mr. Price was born on January 2, 1931 in Rosefield, LA and passed from this life on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Monroe. He was a veteran having retired with the US Airforce. Johnnie also retired after many years of service with Motor Supply Warehouse. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Juanita Poole Price and brother, Jim Pittman. Survivors include his three children: Norris and Susie Price, Jerry and Karan Price and Cindy and Steve Morrow, sister, Bonnie Holmes, grandchildren: Clint Price, Kirby Price, Stevie R. Morrow, Scottie Morrow, Devin Winkler and Whitney Winkler and two great-grandchildren: Dakota Price and Drew Price. Pallbearers will be Shelby Holmes, Mark Holmes, Darrel Holmes, Nathan Roark, Curtis Roark and Dennis Cassels.
