Obituary of Jr. McGuffee

Funeral services for Durrell M. McGuffee, Jr. age 47, of West Monroe will be held 2pm Saturday February 25, 2012 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddy Shoemaker and Rev. Huey Diffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosefield Cemetery East of Grayson, LA. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4pm until 8pm at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia. Durrell M. McGuffee, Jr. was born on June 22, 1964 in Caldwell Parish to the union of his parents Durrell Merwyn McGuffee, Sr. and Mary Ann Coffey McGuffee and passed away on Thursday February 23 at his residence in West Monroe. Durrell was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in West Monroe. Survivors include one son Joshua Robert McGuffee and wife Laura of West Monroe; his daughter Laura Elizabeth McGuffee of West Monroe, his parents, Durrell Merwyn, Sr. "Mac" and Mary Ann McGuffee of West Monroe; his brother, Jeff McGuffee and wife Kathy of West Monroe; his nephews, Seth and Brett, his niece Kacee, a great niece Madison; and many extended family members and friends. Pallbearers include :Lynell Auttonberry, Jerry Eubanks, Jeff McGuffee, Seth McGuffee, Jack Sanders, and Lee McGuffee. Honorary pallbearers include Denis Jacobson, Brett McGuffee, and Gary Jacobson.
