Obituary of Eunice Foshee

Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Rogers Williams Foshee, age 90 of Urania will be held 2pm Sunday March 4, 2012 from the Olla chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with the Rev. E.R. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery at Urania. Visitation will be on Saturday evening from 5 to 8pm, and on Sunday from 9am until time of service at the funeral home. Eunice Foshee was born on September 12, 1921 at Urania, LA to the union of her parents the late Thomas Rogers and Effie Hendrix Rogers. She passed from this life on March 2, 2012 at the St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by two husbands Lee Williams and Henry Foshee, her daughter Opal Jones, and by her grandson Kevin Ray Rogers, and by her parents. Survivors include two sons, Roger Williams and wife Jeannie of West Monroe and Gary Foshee ; three daughters, Margie A. Redmond and husband Vernon of West Monroe; Debra Scarbrough and husband Thomas of Urania, and Dianne Rogers and husband Quinton T. Rogers also of Urania; one brother Quinton Rogers of Urania; two sisters, Joyce Walker of West Monroe and Loyce McAnnaly of Vinton, LA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Callender, Jason Callender, Chris Rogers, Joey Lisenby, Mike Brown, Jeremy Engles, David Williams, and John Williams. Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Corley, Steve May, and Thomas Scarbrough.
