Obituary of Sandra Davis

Funeral Service for Sandra Stotts Davis, 63 of Monroe will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steve Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday March 6, 2011 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia. Sandra Stotts Davis, passed to be with her Savior on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Monroe, Louisiana. She was born at Corpus Christi, Texas, February 22, 1949, to the union of James Poland Stotts and Bernice (Bunkie) Traylor Stotts. Her Grandparents were William Poland and Lottie Hendrix Stotts and John Hardie and Bernice Bogan Traylor, all of Columbia, Louisiana. Sandra was a devout born-again Christian. Her church home was Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Church, Monroe, Louisiana. She loved God, her family, gardening, antiques and garage sales. She was a talented artist, seamstress and homemaker. She is survived by her husband Paul E. Davis of Monroe, Louisiana; son Jon Bodan and wife Ann of Grayson, Georgia; daughter, Connie Langston and husband, Greg of Dawsonville, Georgia; and son, Johnnie Davis and wife, Dawn, of Dawsonville, Georgia; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother, several aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be the men of the Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Congregation. Memorial may be made to the Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Church or favorite charity.
