Obituary of Patricia Grant

Mrs. Pat was born May 13, 1930 and left this world April 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Boykin, mother, Lillian Rutledge Boykin, her son Billy Joe Laird, her husbands, Vester B. Laird and Venice Grant, her sister, Charlotte Allen, and her twin sister, Phyllis Evans Haley. Mrs. Pat is survived by her sisters, Doris Howe of Rayville, and Joan Keene and husband Luke Keene, of West Monroe; her brothers, James R. Boykin and wife Wanda of Weatherford, Texas, and Richard R. Boykin of Fort Worth, Texas, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 17, 2012, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery at Kelly, LA. Pallbearers will be Steve Keene, Mike Gough, Ernest Shoffner, Robert Droten, Ron Laird, and Colby Laird.
