So sorry I could not be there for Mrs. Emily`s service- (I was with Momma at the hospital). Mrs. Emily was a special lady . I loved getting to sit behind her in band and visit with her each week. She was a wonderful Christian witness with such a sweet spitit. She will be missed.

Emily was such a joy to talk to. She always had a beautiful, peaceful smile on her face. I know by her testimony "it was well with her soul". She loved the Lord and was an awesome witness. She has endured alot through her lifetime but I know she is walking those streets of gold and praising her Lord and Savior! We will miss her and always remember what a sweet lady she was. Lifting your family up in prayer during this difficult time. May God give you peace and comfort knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was always one of the kindest and sweetest people I had ever met. She sent us a couple cards when Greg was sick and she always wrote something very sweet and inspirational in them. Adam, Joe, and Will, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful, sweet mother. I will never forget her kindness and wonderful spirit. She made everyone around her feel loved and cared for. Her strong gentle faith was always an inspiration to me. I was privileged to see her a few times over the last couple years, and found that even in the face of declining health, that her uplifting, positive, ever faithful personality never wavered. Whether she was giving us Vitamin C tablets after coming in wet from "the canal", making fruit smoothies while we were playing Atari or watching G.I. Joe, or sitting poolside while we swam at the Country Club (boy were those the days), she just somehow always made you feel special. I always thought Emily was such a wonderful name, so much so that it is the name of my youngest daughter. The reason that name is so special is probably because the one person I knew well who possessed it was herself so special! I thank God I was able to introduce your Mom to "my" Emilee and tell her just that! Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the difficult days to come. Though her loss here is hard to bear, we know she is where there is no more loss, grief, sickness, or pain: in the presence of the God she so faithfully served! God bless you all! Emily was my "Birthday Sister" and I often wonder what our daddy's talked about while they waited for our births,only moments apart. We shared our years together in the same church and school.I feel that a piece of my heart left with Emily, but she left me with wonderful memories and knowing that I am a better person because of our friendship. She was a lovely Christian lady and I will miss her. May God comfort each of you and give you peace.
