Obituary of Charles McMillon

Funeral services for Charles K. McMillon, age 79, of Bosco, will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Bosco Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Charles was born January 13, 1933 to Newt and Hattie Anderson McMillon in Kilbourne, LA and he passed from this life on June 3, 2012 at his residence. He worked in the paper industry for 44 years. He was a member of Bosco Baptist Church. He was one of a kind. He loved hunting, gardening, and being outdoors. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Redden McMillon; son: Norman Glenn McMillon; his parents; three brothers: Norman, Jimmy, and Buddy McMillon; sister: Sue McMillon Key. He is survived by two sons: Charles Gregory McMillon and his wife Janet of Farmerville; Kenneth Wayne McMillon and his wife Onita of Monroe; daughter: Brenda McMillon Carr and her husband Wayne of Monroe; two brothers: James McMillon and Mike McMillon; sister: Beverly Ortner; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
