Obituary of Loretta Kenney

Funeral services for Loretta H. Kenney, age 75, of Columbia will be held 10am Thursday June 14, 2012 from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Columbia with the Rev. Eric Harriman and Rev. Bruce McGee officiating . Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Columbia. Visitation will be on Wednesday June 13,from 5pm until 9pm at the Riser Funeral Home, located at 7131 U S Highway 165. Janice Loretta Kenney was born on April 25, 1937 in Lasalle Parish. She passed from this life on Sunday June 10,2012 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia, following an extended illness. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Travis Quaid. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbia. Loretta is survived by her husband, Lelon Kenney of Columbia; three sons, Ray Norman of Vicksburg, Danny Hall of Columbia, and Steven Hall and wife Sandra of Maryesther, Florida. Loretta also is survived by her grandchildren, Jodie Hall, Brandon Hall, Jesse Hall, and Justin Hall; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn, and Peyton; and thirteen brothers and sisters. Serving as pallbearers are Jodie Hall, Brandon Hall, Jesse Hall, Christopher Canterberry, Joseph Boyd, and Ray Norman.
