Obituary of Jerry Tullos

Graveside services for Jerry Tullos, 63 of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, at Old Union Cemetery in Cotton Plant with Bro. Tommy Nelson and Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Jerry was born August 2, 1948 to John and Maurine Willis Tullos in Monroe and he passed from this life on July 12, 2012 at his residence in Clarks. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Smithland, Kentucky. He was a mate on a tugboat and he loved to cook and work in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: John Douglas Tullos; sister: Barbara Nell Tullos Henderson. He is survived by his daughter Jana of Kentucky; brother: Terry Tullos of Clarks; sister: Ida Mae Sullivan of Monroe; nieces: Brandy Katzenmeyer, Tina Head, Trina LaBlanc, and Toni Elmore; nephews: Johnny Tullos, Herschel Sullivan, and Tim Sullivan. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hester, David Earl Varnell, James Johnson, Curtis Perot, Cory Gene Waldroup, and Glen Barnhill.
