Obituary of Lola Ainsworth

Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Sanders Ainsworth, age 71 of West Monroe, will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Gene Benson officiating and Clayton Plunkett delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Lowe Cemetery in Kelly. Visitation will be Monday evening, July 16, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Mrs. Ainsworth was born on February 2, 1941 to the union of Elisha "Bud" Sanders and Annie Curry Sanders and passed from this life on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She enjoyed crocheting and making gifts for friends and was a member of Lapine Assembly of God in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernest Sanders. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Marvin Ainsworth of West Monroe; three sons: Marvin Ainsworth, Jr. and wife Cindy, Elbert Ainsworth and wife, Susan and Johnny Ainsworth and wife, Sherry all of Texas; daughter, Teresa Woodson and husband, John of Shreveport; brother, Johnny Sanders of West Monroe; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; lifelong friends: Clayton and Betty Plunkett and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Clayton Plunkett, Johnnie Lutrick, Johnny Ainsworth, Jr., Brian Cascio, Roy Patton and Sidney Varnell. Honorary pallbearers will be David Campagna and Billy Varnell.
