Obituary of Leslie Cotten
Funeral services for Mr. Leslie Cotten age 50 of Rhinehart , La will be held 2pm Friday July 20, 2012 from the sanctuary of Community Pentecostal Church at Rhinehart. Rev Norris Poole will be officiating the service,with interment to follow at the Heard Cemetery at Manifest.Visitation will be at the church on Thursday beginning at 4:30pm. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Leslie Glen Cotten was born on March 1, 1962 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Leamon William Cotten and Wanda Lou Adams Cotten. He passed from this life on Monday July 16, 2012 near Harrisonburg from injuries received in an automobile accident. Leslie was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother Talton Cotten. Left to cherish his memory, his sons, Adam Cotten and wife Trisha of Delhi ; Dion Morris of LA; and Tyler Cotten of Texas; two daughters, Amber Fontenot and husband Jacob of Pineville, and Kelsey Cotten of Texas; his step-mother, Martha Cotten of Gilbert; two brothers, Allen Cotten of Thorsby, Alabama, and Derwood Cotten of Harrisonburg; three step brothers, Larry Montpelier, Jr. of Florence, MS; Todd Montpelier of Vicksburg; and Chris Montpelier of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by six precious grandchildren, Krysta Cotten, Sierra Cotten, Brynna Cotten,Kensey Morris, Maddux Morris, and Colton Herrington. Pallbearers include Brian Lee Nobles, Billy Cotten, Billy Franklin, Bobby Kitchens, Colby Cotten, and Todd Montpelier. Honorary pallbearers include Houston Nobles, Onadale Franks, Derwood Cotten, Adam Cotten, John Tarver, and Chris Montpelier.
