Obituary of Hazel Brewer

Funeral services for Ms. Hazel Belle Brewer, age 71 of Ball, will be held at 2 PM Sunday, September 9, 2012 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Bro. Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery in Olla. Visitation will be Saturday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Olla from 5 PM to 8 PM. Ms. Brewer was born on May 17, 1941 to the union of Mark Lindell Brewer and Mary Yvonne Apon Brewer and passed from this life on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her residence. She worked as a physical education teacher at Good Pine Elementary before retiring after 36 years. She enjoyed genealogy and collecting stamps. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Bing Brewer and Wayne Brewer. Survivors include her brother, Paul Brewer of Olla; sister-in-law, Ernestine Brewer of Olla; three nephews: Michael Brewer, Marc Brewer and Greg Brewer; niece, Karen Brewer and great-niece, Katelyn Brewer. Pallbearers will be Kent Ruddell, Keith Ruddell, Ralph Harris, Bob Allbritton, Russell King and Wendel Wilson.
