Obituary of Enoch Howard

Funeral services for Enoch Howard, 78, of Olla, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday September 10, 2012 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Enoch was born October 6, 1933 to John and Ellen Adams Howard in Winnsboro and he passed from this life on September 7, 2012 at his residence in Olla. He was a heavy equipment operator with Union of Operating Engineers Local 406 and he owned Jeano's restaurant in Grayson. He was an avid fisherman and LSU and Saints football fan. He was preceded in death by his wife: Jean Howard; his parents; five brothers: Paul, Willie, Felton, Norman, and Louis Howard. He is survived by three daughters: Jennifer House of Duson, LA; Penny Howard of Baton Rouge; Stephannie Wright of Baton Rouge; brother: Elzie Howard and his wife Anne of Monroe; sister: Vivian Slocum of Bastrop; sister-in-law: Betty Howard of Columbia; grandson: John Wiggins of Baton Rouge; two granddaughters: Amy Mowad and her husband David of Lafayette; Lindsey Wright of Baton Rouge; great-grandson: Jacob Mowad of Lafayette.
