Obituary of Peggy Exline Atwell

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Lee Exline Atwell, age 63 of Jena, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 4, 2012 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. R.V. Couch officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Mrs. Atwell was born on May 15, 1949 in Grayson, LA to the union of John James Exline and Hilda Carroll Exline and passed from this life on Monday, October 1, 2012 at her residence. She worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed fishing and loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tucker "Toddy" Atwell; grandson, David Addison Williams; twin sister, Patsy Ann Exline; sister, Lola Black and brother, Danny "Mooney" Exline. Survivors include her two sons: Sherwin L. Williams and wife, Jennifer of Jena and Joe Williams and wife, Alicia of Nebo; two daughters: Le Ann Whitman Tassin and Tiffinee Whitman Kirkham and husband, Joseph both of Jena; step children: Ricky Wayne Parnell and wife, Krystal and Theresa Atwell Poole and husband, Kevin both of Georgetown; five brothers: James Exline and wife, Debbie of FL, Jack Exline of FL, C.M. B-line Exline and wife, Lou of Clarks, Tom Exline of Clarks and Bill Exline and wife, Sheila of Olla; three sisters: Betty Knight and husband, Dick of Olla, Linda Caraway and husband, Vernon Brown of Columbia and Polly Lynn Nugent of Olla and fourteen grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Juston Boyett, Jordon Boyett, Ryan "Vince" Kirkham, Jeffrey Kirkham, Ricky Parnell and Ben Whatley. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Williams and Martin Williams.
