Obituary of Georgia Conner

Funeral services for Georgia Faye (Williams) Conner age 71 of Grayson will be held 10am Sunday October 28, 2012 from the sanctuary of New Ouachita Baptist Church at Enterprise with Rev. Dorothy Smith and Rev. James King officiating. Interment will follow in the Harrisonburg Cemetery at Harrisonburg, LA . Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Georgia Faye Conner was born on February 21, 1941 at Enterprise, LA to the union of her parents, Grover Cleveland Williams and Addie Amine (Sanson) Williams. She passed from this life suddenly on October 25, 2012 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following a brief illness. Georgia was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Noel Collier. Georgia retired as head seamstress with J C Penney in Houston, Texas. Survivors include, one son, Lawrence Lavelle Guion and wife Christy of Shreveport; her granddaughter, Danielle Guion; two sisters, Dianne Gore Gill and husband Buddy, and Patsy Foerster all of Grayson; three brothers, Roger C. Williams and wife Georgia of Rosefield, Joe Williams and wife Bonnie, and Wayne Williams and wife Patty, all of Enterprise; and a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends. Pallbearers include, Buddy Gill, Billy Townsend, Wesley Williams, Grover Lynn Williams, Cleve Williams, and Justin Eubanks. Tyler Townsend will serve as alternate.
