Obituary of Dale Claunch

Graveside services for Dale Claunch, 57, of Columbia, will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks with Bro. Glen Gore officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Dale was born May 3, 1955 to Charles and Dorothy Ross Claunch in Monroe and he passed from this life on December 30, 2012 at his residence. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife: Eva Jean Claunch; two sons: Christopher and Cody Claunch; daughter: Tammy Claunch; father: Charles Claunch. He is survived by two daughters: Amber and Charlsey Claunch; two step-daughters: Chesslie and Kelsey Thomas; mother: Dorothy Ross Claunch; brother Roger Claunch and his wife Anna; sister: Susie Nelson and her husband Earl; special friend: Sharlie Thomas; two grandchildren: Dallas and McKayla Douglas. Pallbearers will be Troy Hibbard, Mike Meredith, Cliff Stamper, and Vernon McMillon.
