Obituary of Bernice Corley

Funeral services for Bernice Corley, age 84, of Columbia, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Bernice was born June 7, 1928 to Lee and Addie Quaid and she passed from this life on February 11, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a member of Banks Springs Baptist Church and she enjoyed going to pikino. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Marvin Corley; her parents; grandson: Bryan Keith Babcock; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons: Billy Corley and his wife Janet of Gonzales, LA; Joe David Corley and his wife Henrietta of Benton, LA; two daughters: Julie Thomason and her husband Mike of Ardmore, AL; Shirley King and her husband Thomas of Grayson; two sisters: Irene Bollin and Lucille Swayze; a host of grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Courtney Cutrera, Scott McKeithen, Joseph Corley, Steven Corley, Timothy Corley, Jason Smith, and Matt Corley.
