This is very saddening! I've moved back to Caldwell Parish & was searching up my favorite teachers; Mr. Garrett was definitely that. Because of him, my love of learning about biology is vibrant now that I turn to farming. I wish my daughter could take your class. Fortunately, you were SO awesome, Mr Garrett, that I have so much to teach her! Thank you for giving so much of your Self for us. My truest condolences to the family, my classmates, and everyone who loved him.

Cherie, My heart and prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Mr. Garrett was a very kind man. I have some of the fondest high school memories from being in his class. My mom, Carolyn, always spoke kindly of him as well when they worked on the school board together some years back.
