I knew Melinda when were were both children, lived right next door to her and Michelle, Her, I and Michelle used to play together all the time, even dressed up for Halloween together, we were basically like sisters so to speak. Her Mother watched over me while my Mother worked up until she got home. I finally got back in touch with Pearlie later on and began working with her at the Nursing Home up until she took ill and had to give up working. She was always like another Mother to me. I remember Melinda so well. She use to go to the same Church I attend still, here in Swampers, LA. The Jesus Name Apostolic Church. One thing that I remember most about her is that she was always smiling. The last time I seen her was Feb. 26, 2010 @ Popeyes in Columbia, she remembered who I was. We talked for a good little while.
