Obituary of Kevin Weeks

Funeral services for Kevin Keith Weeks , age 52, of Columbia will be held 10am Friday June 17, 2011 from the sanctuary of Old Bethel Baptist Church at Clarks, with Rev. Keith Thomas and Elgin McFadden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Thursday evening, June 16, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the church. Kevin Keith Weeks was born on November 11, 1958 at Columbia, LA to his parents: Bobby Gerald Weeks and Jackie Cossey Weeks . He passed from this life on Wednesday June 15, 2011 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. Kevin was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church , and was a Offshore Consultant with Chevron Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his father and by his brother Stacy Weeks. Survivors include his wife Lynette, two sons: Caleb Weeks and wife Hilary; and Corey Weeks all of Columbia. He also leaves his mother: Jackie Cossey of Grayson and his brother: Eric Weeks of Grayson; his father and mother in law: William and Linda Waits of Columbia; and his beloved grandchildren: Halli and Landon Weeks. He is also survived by his sister-in-law: Donna Rollins and her husband Ricky, and his nephews: Justin and Jake Rollins . Kevin loved all of his family dearly and he will be extremely missed by all who knew him. Kevin also leaves his special friend and coworker Jack Hallmark. Pallbearers include: Jim Wallace, Tracey Pauley, Kevin Thompson, Jack Hallmark, Rev. Michael Green, and John Foy.
