Obituary of Ruth Hudnall

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Crain Hudnall age 95 of Grayson will be held 2pm Friday October 23, 2009 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:30pm until time of service. Ruth Crain Hudnall was born on February 3, 1914 at Sikes, LA to her parents Oscar Bebe Crain and Cora Beavers Crain. She passed from this life on Thursday October 22 following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents , and by her husband Clifford A.Hudnall , and by her siblings; Ruby Thoman , Lillian Monroe and husband Johnny, Harl Crain, and Nelma Perkins and husband Willie B. Perkins, Jr. She was an active member of Grayson Baptist Church prior to her lengthy illness, and a member of the Eastern Star. She owned and operated Ruth's Dress Shop in Grayson prior to retirement. Survivors include: Sister-in-law: Loried Crain of Grayson. Also a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews . Serving as pallbearers will be John Robert Monroe, Michael McLemore, Ryan McLemore, Hunter Hale, Michael B.Thoman, J.B. Thoman, Mike Hale, and Keith Albritton. Honorary pallbearers include Lee Hale, Mike Crain, Jarrod Crain, Lance Crain, and Stetson Crain.
