Obituary of Helen Lay

Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Faye Baugh Lay, age 67 of Paducah, KY, will be 11 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Palestine Cemetery in Columbia with Rev. Charles Lutrick officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening at Palestine Baptist Church from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Lay was born on December 18, 1941 in Ouachita Parish and passed from this world on November 30, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Richard Ted Baugh and Mary Harper Baugh and brother; Melvin Baugh. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, William "Buck" Lay of Paducah, KY, three daughters: Phyllis Boyd of Paducah, KY, Cindy Harter and her husband, John of Richmond, KY and Celeste Lay and companion., Chris Fettweis of New Orleans, LA, son; Keith Lay and wife, Melissa of Paducah, KY, eight grandchildren: Ashley Lay, Caleb Lay, Matthew Lay, Cody Boyd, Andi Boyd, Mary Harter, William Hartner and Lucy Fettweis, nine sisters: Lois Christy, Marie Christy, Nancy Williamson, Evelyn Osbon, Brenda Aswell, Linette Wheelis, Hollie Alford, Teresa Ferguson and Debbie Baugh, six brothers: Marshall Baugh, Richard Baugh, Roy Baugh, Odell Baugh, Lemiel Baugh and Norman Baugh and numerous nieces and nephews.
