Obituary of Lillian Deal

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Sellers "Aunt Lil" Deal, age 79 of Mer Rouge, will be 2 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Paul Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Columbia. Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home in Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM. Aunt Lil was born in Oak Ridge on December 13, 1930 to the union of Daniel Sellers and Ada Bailey Sellers and passed from this life on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at her residence in Mer Rouge. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Simmie Lee Sellers, Daniel Webster Sellers and George Grey Sellers and four sisters: Augusta Lucille Sellers, Lois Baker Sellers, Eva Jewel Buono and Elby Arlene Adams. Survivors include her two brothers: Edgar Eugene Sellers and wife, Karyn of Golden, CO and Wyatt Clifton Sellers of Monroe, sister; Norma Ruth Hafer of Grayson and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews. Pallbearers will be Charles Buono, Darren Miguez, Earl Henry, Sean McHenry, Donald Ray Hendrix and Jerry Clack. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Mike Smith.
