Obituary of Chester Berry

Funeral services for Chester "Chico" Berry, age 64 of Clarks, will be 3:30 PM Sunday, January 3, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Bill Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 PM to 9 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Berry was born Clarks on June 18, 1945 to the union of John Jefferson and Juanita Dupree Berry and passed away on January 1, 2010 at his residence. Chico was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and of the Masonic Lodge in Columbia formerly of Clarks. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother; Lester Berry and sister; Evelyn Gunn. Survivors include his brother; Alvin Berry and wife, Evelyn of Grayson, five sisters: Marty Bradford of Columbia, Dottie Masoner and husband, Chuck of Columbia, Bobbie Gunn of Columbia, Daisy Black and husband, Travis of Grayson and Charlene Nutt of Cleveland, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dustin May, David Lyn Crain, Richard Deville, Dexter Ray, Joe Ray and Mike Masoner.
