Obituary of Brady Howard

Funeral services for Mr. Brady Ford Howard, age 84 of Columbia, will be held at 11 Am Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Columbia with Rev. Eric Harriman officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Hebert. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the church from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mr. Howard was born in Hebert on April 3, 1925 to the union of Martin Luther Howard and Lena B. Culpepper Howard and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. Brady was a retired veteran from the Navy and a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Johnnie F. Howard, daughter; Denise Howard and two brothers; Palmer Howard and Luke Howard. Survivors include his daughter; Victoria Villella and husband, Peter of Peabody, MA, two sons: Anthony Howard and wife, Nancy of Amesbury, MA and Brady Howard of Peabody, MA, brother; Ted Howard and wife, Josephine of West Monroe, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, special nephew; Luther Nolan Howard and two special friends: Oliver Wilson and John "Twill" Parker. Pallbearers will be Jeff Howard, Mark Howard, Darrell Howard, Thorn Howard, Ethan Howard and Max Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Oliver Wilson, Jerry Morris and Twill Parker.
