Obituary of Francis Baum

Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Gough Baum, age 72 of Monroe, will be held at 1 PM on Friday, February 19, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Onie Haye officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Kelly. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 4 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Baum was born on October 18, 1937 to the union of Melton "Coon" Gough and Clara Eubanks Gough and left this world on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church and a retired home health nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Houston Ray Baum and step-son; Roy Baum. Survivors include three sons: Ken Whatley and wife, Linda of Whitehouse, TN, Ray Baum and wife, Melissa of Georgetown, Melton Baum and wife, Melissa of Kelly, daughter; Camilla Pettway and husband, Robert of Monroe, sister; Barbara Goode of Talladega, AL, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chance Baum, Seth Robertson, Mark Millicen, Chad Poole, Pat Bass and Jon Hankins. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe White.
