Obituary of Inez Lewis

Funeral services for Mrs. Inez ( McGuffee ) Lewis age 90 of Enterprise will be held 2:30pm Monday from the New Ouachita Baptist Church at Enterprise with the Rev. Gary Maroney officating. Interment will follow in the Rosefield Cemetery with services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday evening from 4pm until 7pm and on Monday from 10am until time of service. Inez McGuffee was born on June 24, 1919 at Rosefield,LA to the union of her parents the late Cary Alford McGuffee and Dollie Sones McGuffee and went home to be with her Lord on Saturday March 6 at her residence following an extended illness. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life , her husband Clyde Henry Lewis, and by three grandsons: Patrick Shayne Lewis, Gregory Mark Vincent, and Drew Rodney Hutchins. She was a lifelong resident of Enterprise and was a member of the New Ouachita Baptist Church. Survivors include: Sons: H. C. Lewis and wife Bessie, of Enterprise and Wayland Lewis of Jonesville. Daughters: Doujuana Vincent and husband Mark of Monroe, Deniece Roark and husband Curtis of Enterprise, and Dania Hutchins and husband Rodney of Harrisonburg. Brother: Ancel McGuffee of Enterprise and two sisters: Audrey McVay of Enterprise and Amy Ferrington of Monroe. Nine grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren. Pallbearers include: Derek Ainsworth, Rodney Hutchins, Devin Lewis, Curtis Roark, Reggie Roark, Trevor Rogers, and Mark Vincent. Honorary pallbearers include: Ronnie darden, Jerry Eubanks, Earl Isonhood, Mickey McGuffee, and Mr.Alden Creel.
