Obituary of Diana Kinnison
Funeral services for Diana Lynn (McDaniel) Kinnison, age 63 of Kelly will be held at 2pm Wed. May 26, 2010 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Harriman and Rev. Keith Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the McDaniel Cemetery at Kelly. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 4 to 9pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Hwy 165 Columbia. Born Diana Lynn McDaniel on June 20, 1946 to William Ellis McDaniel and Martha Lillian Moore McDaniel at Urania, LA, she passed from this life on Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after a months long illness. She met and married the love of her life, Billy Wayne Kinnison, who preceded her in death just a few short years back. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the First Baptist Church but also attended Old Bethel Baptist Church. Diana was truly a wonderful person, mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a wonderful cook and will especially be remembered for her delectable Christmas candies and goodies, especially her pralines, that she shared with the community. Diana was always concerned about others before herself, and leaves behind a great void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Survivors include: her sons: Wilmer Ellis Kinnison and wife, Sonya of Monroe, and William Keith Kinnison, Sr. and wife, Karen of Pheonix City, Alabama. Two daughters: Kim Dombrowski and husband, Mike of Grayson, and Jennifer Kinnison of Grayson. Sister: Deborah (McDaniel) Shannon and husband, Jerry of Monroe. Her precious grandchildren: Morgan Bailes, Jacob Bailes and fiancée Chelsea Mullenix, William Keith Kinnison, Jr., Kristina Kinnison, Hannah Dombrowski, Erin Dombrowski, Christopher Dombrowski, and Alison Kinnison. Serving as pallbearers will be Charles McDougald, Craig McDougald, Chris McDougald, John Reitzell, Sr., Kiel Guillory, Justin Eady, William Keith Kinnison, Jr., and Jerry Shannon. Honorary pallbearers include: Bud Kinnison, Billy Mann, Roger Scott, and Jacob Bailes.
