Obituary of Beulah Oser

Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Evonne Hatten Oser, age 83 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5-9 PM. Mrs. Oser was born on April 25, 1927 in Sikes to the union of Alvin Edward Hatten and Ellen Louvenia Thompson Hatten and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Citizen's Medical Center in Columbia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 60 years; Alvin H. "Bud" Oser, eight brothers and sisters and son-in-law; Curtis Childress. Survivors include her daughter; Shirley Oser Childress of Grayson, son; Kenny Oser and wife, Betty of Hebert, grandchildren: David Oser of Bebe, AR, Kenneth Oser and wife, Misty of New Caney, TX, Shannon McCoy and wife, Crystal of Oxford, MS, Brandy Stevens and husband, Richard of Olla, twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Laffoon, Waynond Laffoon, Willie Jones, Jim Clark, Murray Gros and Richard Stevens
