Obituary of Madalyne Garrett

Funeral services for Madalyne Elizabeth Garrett known affectionately as "Madi" to her friends and loved ones, will be held 10AM Saturday June 19,2010 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia. Madi was born on December 22, 2009 and angels carried her away from this life suddenly on June 15 2010 at the age of five and a half months. She was a precious baby girl who was loved by her mom and dad , her brothers and sisters, her grandparents, and extended family members. Survivors include: Her mother: Betty Fisher and her father Mike Garrett. Her sisters: Crystal and Penny Garrett and her brothers: Trenton, Bobby, and Michael Garrett. Maternal grandparents: Nita Fatheree and Carl Fatheree and Donny Fisher . Maternal great grandparents: Grace Acreman and Betty Byrd. Paternal Grand mother: Ruby Garrett. Numerous aunts and uncles. Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Fatheree and Josh Langly. The Garrett family will receive guests on Friday evening from 4 to 9pm at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia,LA.
