Obituary of Jack McDonald

Graveside services for Mr. Jack Barnette McDonald, age 83 of Olla, will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 30, 2010 at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks, LA. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the Columbia location of Riser Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mr. McDonald was born in New Orleans, LA on May 24, 1927 and passed from this life on July 25, 2010 in Waveland, MS. Jack worked many years in the oil field industry and served in the Navy during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife; Bettye Jo Nethery McDonald, his son; John D. McDonald, his father; John McDonald and the parents who raised him; Sherwood and Eva Poole. Survivors include his two sons: Jack B. McDonald, Jr. and wife, Madeline of Monroe and Chris J. McDonald of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., daughter-in-law; Lisa McDonald of New Orleans and four grandchildren: Shane McDonald, David McDonald, Daniel McDonald and Laura McDonald.
