Obituary of Johnny Frith

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Johnny Darrell Frith, age 61 of Oak Grove, LA and formerly of Columbia will be held at 10am, Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Lapine Cemetery at Eros, LA with Rev. Herman Leanard officiating. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. The Frith family will receive visitors on Tuesday evening from 5 to 9pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Hwy 165, Columbia. Johnny Darrell Frith was born on May 1, 1949 at Monroe, LA to the union of John James Frith and Norvell Wheeler Frith and passed from this life on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Richland Parish Medical Center in Delhi following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Barney Frith and his brother, Jimmy Frith. He was a sawmill laborer. Survivors include two daughters: April Lewis and husband, Shawn of Oak Grove, and Monica Pittman of West Monroe, a son: Bradley Barr of Monroe, step-children: Linda Hatten of Texas, and Jimmy Hatten of Columbia, a brother: Marlin Frith and wife, Zelma of West Monroe, a sister: Merlene Adkins of Eros, and sixteen grandchildren. Pallbearers include: Bobby Phillips, Robert Simpson, Glenn Frith, Shawn Lewis, Cody Perot, and Brian Baker.
