Obituary of Wyatt Sellers

Funeral services for Wyatt Clifton Sellers, age 75, of Monroe will be held at 2pm Monday, August 23, 2010 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home . Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 5 to 9pm at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165. Wyatt Clifton Sellers was born on April 4, 1935 at Collinson, LA to his parents Daniel Lee Sellers and Ada Bailey Sellers. He passed from this life on Friday, August 20,2010 at the West Monroe Guest House in West Monroe following an extended illness. Wyatt was preceded in death by his parents and by his sisters and brothers: Lillian Deal, Julie Beauno, Loyce Baker, Arlene Adams, Daniel Sellers, Dutch Sellers, and George Sellers. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was also a retired Superintendant with the Waste Water Management of the City of Monroe. He is survived by: his wife, Rita Sellers of Monroe; his sons, Gregory Grayson of Columbia and Mark Takewell of West Monroe; his daughter, Debbie Foster of Monroe; his brother, Edgar Sellers of Denver, Colorado and his sister Norma Ruth Hafer of Grayson. He also leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchilden.
