I am sorry to hear of Mr. Burns passing, he was a good man. I remember when he corrected me for misbehaving in Homeroom class, by giving me five licks with the paddle and I had to write five thousand lines. That got my attention needless to say and I stayed out of trouble from then on. He was definitely part of the "Greatest Generation" and he left his mark on the world.
