Obituary of Melissa Allen

Funeral services for Melissa Carol Allen, age 35 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Bubba Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Friday evening at the Columbia funeral home from 5 PM to 9 PM. Melissa was born in Columbia on December 26, 1974 to the union of Leonard J. Allen and Estelle Stapleton Allen and passed from this life on Thursday, September 02, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Clarks Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother; Estelle Allen of Columbia, three sisters: Monica Gentry and husband, Gary of Columbia, Lea Ann Allen of Bossier and Laura Tucker and husband, Bubba of Rosefield, five nephews: Zeb Tucker, Caleb Tucker, Brian Fatheree, Jacob Gentry and Zack Gentry and best friend and caregiver; Mary Guerrero. Pallbearers will be Zeb Tucker, Caleb Tucker, Brian Fatheree, Jacob Gentry, Gary Gentry and James McDaniel.
