Obituary of Jimmy Lindsey

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie L. Lindsey, 69, of Columbia, will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia, with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Home Cemetery. Mr. Lindsey was born on June 21, 1941 in Sikes, LA, and passed from this life on Monday, September 20, 2010, in The Haven Nursing Center of Columbia. He worked in the sawmill for many years. He is preceded in death by his father, Louie Lindsey; son, John Lindsey; daughter, Lisa Gail Lindsey; granddaughter, Brandy Renee McCoy. Survivors include his Mother, Tressie Lindsey of Winnsboro; daughter, Sarah E. (Beth) McCoy and husband John of Kelly; son, Jimmy L. Lindsey and wife Jessica of Columbia; granddaughters, Heather McCoy of Kelly and Kim Lindsey of Columbia; brothers, Donald Lindsey and wife Patricia of Atlanta, GA, Coy Lindsey and wife Billy of Mangham; sisters, Faye Goodwin and husband David of Newelton, Sue Lindsey of Winnsboro, Kay Lindsey of Urania, Renee King and husband Robert of Urania; a host of nieces and nephews.
