Obituary of Lillie Haddan

Funeral services for Lillie F. Duchesne Haddan age 87 of Columbia will be held 2pm Sunday October 3, 2010 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Stewart Sherman & Bro. Floyd Duchesne officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebert Cemetery in the Hebert Community, Columbia , LA. Visitation will be on Saturday evening October 2, 2010 from 5pm until 8pm at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165,Columbia, LA. Lillie F. Duchesne was born on June 21, 1923 at Hebert in Richland Parish, LA to the union of her parents the late Camille C. Duchesne and Lillie Oliveaux Duchesne. She met the love of her life Gipson Thomas Haddan and they were married almost fifty years before his untimely death sixteen years ago. Mrs. Haddan passed from this life on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son: Charles Richard Haddan, her parents, and seven brothers and sisters. She was a graduate of Mangham high School and was a Registered Nurse. Survivors include: Her son: William Thomas Haddan, Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her beloved grandchildren: Lori, Missy, Ricky, Nicky, and Tiffany and eight great-grandchildren, She also leaves three special nieces: Shirley Mullenix of Columbia, Virginia LaBorde of Hessmer,LA ; and Carolyn Sikes of Ball, LA. Pallbearers will be: Scott and George Mullenix, Gene Dupree, Paul Dupree,Donald Oliveaux, Roy McMullen. Honorary pallbearers include: Hunter Dupree and Alfred Duchesne
