Obituary of Jr. Ainsworth

Funeral services for Mr. Alvin Julian "Pete" Ainsworth, Jr., age 71 of Olla, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from the sanctuary of Rosefield Baptist Church with Bro. Ricky Gresham officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening at the church from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mr. Ainsworth was born on January 25, 1939 in Rosefield to the union of Alvin Julian Ainsworth, Sr. and Julia Currington Ainsworth and went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from Hardtner Medical Center. Pete was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter including deer and squirrel and enjoyed most types of fishing. He was a strong family man who loved his grandchildren greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife; Reba Finley Ainsworth of Olla, son; Michael Ainsworth and wife, Kristy of Rosefield, daughter; Connie Lindsey and husband, Mark of Olla, brother; David Ainsworth and wife, Virginia Ann of Ridgecrest, three sisters: Julia Mae Powell, Bertie Faye Esters and Edith Kelly all of Rosefield and four grandchildren: Joshua Lindsey and wife, Rae, Seth Lindsey, Ethan Ainsworth and Zoey Ainsworth. Pallbearers will be Eddie Coolman, Phillip Powell, Bill Kerry, Tim Hennigan, Bob Downing and Freddy Wayne Ainsworth. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Hennigan, Sr., Leon Etheridge, Keith Varnell and Donald Roark.
