Obituary of Julia Smith

Funeral Services for Julia Ann Smith, age 60, of Palmetta, formerly of Columbia, will be held 11AM at the Breston Plantation in Riverton with Rev. Stuart Sherman officiating. Interment will follow at the plantation. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time Saturday. Julia was born January 29, 1950 to Samuel and Clara Crawford Smith, Sr., in Magnolia, AR and she passed from this life on November 29, 2010 at Tri Community Nursing Home in Palmetta. She was a teacher, an artist, and a musician. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include five children: William Hugh Youngblood, Jr., Julia Caroline Youngblood, William Breston Youngblood, Jonathan Lewis, and Heather Blackmon; two brothers: Samuel Holice Smith, Jr. and Marvin Clay Smith; three grandchildren: Sylee Kathlyn Lewis, Hollie Blair Lewis, and Hailey Brooke Lewis.
