Obituary of Kimberly Welch

Funeral services for Kimberly Suezanne Welch age 41 of Wisner,LA will be held 2pm Friday December 17, 2010 from the South Central Baptist Church with the Rev. T. J. Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 6 to 9pm. Kimberly Suezanne Welch was born on January 1,1969 at Sterlington, LA to the union of her parents Gene Pickering and Sandra Lee Jenkins. She passed from this life on December 14,2010 at her home in Wisner. Kimberly was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her paternal grand parents:Ed and Juanita Pickering and her maternal grand parents: Jessie and Margie Jenkins. Survivors include: Her daughter: Julia Woodburn and husband Brian of West Monroe, LA. Husband: Ronal Welch of Rosefield, LA. Her Father: Gene Pickering and wife Melba of Wisner and her mother: Sandra Bryant and husband Willie of Natchez, MS. Her beloved grand daughter: Addison Woodburn of West Monroe. Her sisters: Jena Anaya and husband Lionel of San Antonio, TX, Hope Saucier Pickering and husband Frankie of Wisner, and Ashley Morgan and husband Vincent of Wisner, also her brother:Joe Curtis and wife Brandy of Wisner. She also leaves behind seventeen nieces and nephews, two great nephews, and two great nieces. Those serving as pallbearers include: Heath Roberts, Marty Roberts, Vincent Morgan, Garrett Jones, Keith Whittington,Ernie Bingham, and Jason Tipton. Danny Welch will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
